WEBSITE EMAIL CHANGE |
In order to help cut down on email spam sent to the site's email address, the email address has been changed. In addition, all Madura Website email links within the site have been disabled to prevent automatic scraping of the address to hopefully prevent any new spam. The new email address is madura at lk3000 dot com. You'll need to convert the 'at' and 'dot' into the actual symbols and type it yourself in the TO: address line of any email. GV will still be on the receiving end. The previous email address of unofficialmadura@lk3000.com will no longer function.

MADURA MAYHEM JUNE 2008 |
Time is closing in Madura Mayhem 2008 is quickly approaching. It became a little bit more of a challenge this year to find a location. Locations from southern Illinois to South Carolina were looked at. Looking for the accommodations with some good riding led us to the “Carpet Capital of the World”. Dalton Georgia sitting along the old Dixie Highway is waiting with open arms. We even managed to find a Hotel with a Waffle House across the street. Make your reservations and get ready for some good times with some old and new found friends.

MADURA MAYHEM 2007 HEADED FOR THE HILLS |
2007 Madura Mayhem took us to the hills. The Black Hills of South Dakota . June 14-17, 2007 in Custer , SD. The main hotel was The Rock Crest Lodge. This was just outside Custer State Park and just miles from Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse Mountain . We rode Iron Mountain Highway and Needles Highway , two of the most beautiful and breath taking roads in the country. With the long list of things to see and do all weekend our short time there was not enough..

And, after much anticipation, the V700 Madura Parts Drawings with part numbers are now available as well!!! These are scanned images of the microfiche any Suzuki dealer would look at to figure out what the Madura part numbers are for the parts you need to replace on your Madura.

DATABASE AUTOMATION NOW A REALITY!

I finally made time to supercharge the Owner's Directory with ColdFusion powered database functionality! You can view statistics of owners in different categories just by looking at the links, and you can do lookups by U.S. State, first letter of last name, or even narrow down how many people own a V1200 or a V700. The output file of the entire directory is larger than before because of the table formatting, so unless you have a fast connection, I recommend doing smaller lookups for your area. As a side note, this will also prevent search engine spiders from indexing people's names from the directory. Registration for new Suzuki Madura owners is now totally automated, and when new members sign up, their information will appear in the database immediately, without having to wait for me to get around to posting it!
