(1-29-05) Picture Taken summer of 2003, i purchased the bike from a dealer. It had 25,000 km when i bought it and a whole lot more now. Love the ride and the power and im a fairly large fellow (6'5" & 240 lbs). Like many other i just wish it went a little farther on a tank of gas. But i cant wait to get on it again.

(2-6-05) I bought this bike from a friend two years ago and have had nothing but fun ever since. I owned a bike many years ago well actually 25 years ago and wanted to get back into it. When a friend of mine told me he was selling this one I just could not resist.

(2-20-05) This is my new Madura, My Favorite Greatest most Wonderful brother Raven bought it on E-Bay and sold it to me. Then he drove me to Mayhem in Wisconsin (2004) and we picked it up on our way down. This is a picture of my first ride on it.

Darrell Hatcher
(3-2-05) I've had my bike for about 4 months now was looking to buy a new bike at the time then a friend of my sons showed me this bike in their shed. His mom and dad had rode it to Nashville in the summer then put it up after his mom laid it down... no real damage, I fixed it all for 30.00 thanks to E-bay, gave $1000 for the bike and it runs great. Planning on going to Mayhem 2005 as me and my wife are both from West Virginia and her dad only lives 60 miles from Boyer, WV. Hope to get a better pic later, this was after avery cold ride and taken with my bushnell binoculars.

Dan McCanlies
(3-21-05) This is my GV700 Madura that I bought from Steve Huskey of Austin, TX in October 2004. Steve is a registered Madura owner, so he knew enough to take good care of it. It now has 13,400 miles on it. I've done very little to it, except lube changes, a little polishing, and the Jardine pipes.
I've owned probably a dozen motorcycles over the years (I'm 46), from Yamaha 250 dirt bikes to Goldwing Aspencades, but I think this is the greatest bike I've ever owned. I sold my last bike, the Aspencade, in 1986 because it was such a pig to ride around town, and in traffic. The Madura is such an improvement in these situations. Fast, beautiful, and agile. I couldn't ask for a better package. Hope one of these days to find a 1200 Madura for me, and I'll give this one to my wife, Donna, so that she can experience for herself the thrill of a Madura! (She's not a good passenger)...

(4-6-05) Argentina Bs.As.
los comentarios de los “Dueños” y me sorprendió lo complacidos por la moto;
la compré y no me arrepiento es “única” y es una lastima que no se fabrique
más, la moto es sorprendente en sus prestaciones. Saludos desde Argentina.

Kevin Harbosky
(4-17-05) This is my '85 Madura V700, I got it in a trade. It was rode hard and put up wet quite a bit before I got it. It didn't need TLC, it needed CPR. It only has 8,700 miles on it, but they must have been hard ones. It needed dents cherried out, paint, new rear hub, brake pads (dry rotted), front tire, polishing, and did I mention more polishing. I took some vacation, pulled it into the dining room (advantage of being single), and got to work. Well it took my week of vacation, and some additional off days to get it done. It's still not 100%, but it's road worthy. And handles great.
I did take it over to the guy I got it from, to show him that she's getting the attention she needed. Also, now when she's not out on the road, she is under shelter.

(5-1-05) I bought my Madura in 1989 from a guy that had moved here from California. It only had 2100 miles on it. I rode it for a couple of years off and on. I moved and left it in my dad's garage for several years. I moved back here a couple of years ago and last year decided to get her out and see if I could get her going again. The first thing of course was the rust in the gas tank and the carbs gummed up and all the little things that go along with letting one sit for that long... Anyway, she had 4100 miles on her and I have been riding her this past year and now have her up to 6500 miles and getting better everytime I ride.

(5-7-05) I have had my bike for 4 years now and I truly love it. I think I will hang on to this one. So many bikes have that Harley look now, I like the fact that I own something different and unique. Maybe someday I'll make it to Mayhem - it's a bit of a drive for me. It's hard to believe it only cost me $3000 Canadian. Has a few dings I think next year I will get it painted.
