1985 Suzuki Madura GV1200, burgundy. Bike is original with 23,500 miles. Has a little paint fade on top of the gas tank, otherwise in nice shape. Starts and runs great, tires average. I've spent quite a bit of time cleaning and polishing but it could still use more TLC. Put a little time into this bike and it could be very nice. Sale price: $1800.00.

This has been a very reliable bike and I have ridden it everyday for a year since we moved to Valdosta. Needs no work and has recently had tune up. No mechanical problems!! It has never given me a bit of trouble and only has just over 26,000 miles. Has a new front tire (back in very good condition). Has new paint (but clear coat is cracked), and has a new front seat (rear is is good condition). Comes with one front and two rear leather saddlebags, as well as a cover. Has been very dependable and I am selling it because I just started a graduate school internship at VSU and needed to buy a car. If you are looking for a CHEAP but RELIABLE bike, this is it!

Burgundy V700 has 39k highway miles. It's a great daily driver, with good rubber and new paint this Spring (it was sun-faded). Aluminum sidecases show typical aging, and could use some polishing, as do the front wheel spokes. I have had no reliability problems with the bike in the 3 years I've owned it, and I wouldn't hesitate to ride it anywhere in the country. It runs smooth, fast and quiet. Also included, are a removable windshield fairing and saddlebags. I'm looking for around $2100, and will consider interesting trades.

I have owned bike since 02/2000 -drove it for about 2 yrs then wrecked it - bought a new one and kept it to supposedly rebuild - 4 yrs later its time to let go! It started for the first 3 yrs after the accident then since last Spring all
it does is turn over.
Everyone says this but I really hate to sell it - I realize however that I am never going to do anything with it. It is borderline a parts bike or a rebuildable project if you have the mechanical know how - I would opt for rebuilding if I could but I don't know where or how to start.
It was in Bryan TX but is now in Manor TX in the garage - title is clear & in my name in case you want to restore it. Bike is located right outside of Austin Tx - I really don't remember the mileage but know it was under 27K - asking 400.00 or best offer. As a parts bike I can tell you that over all the bike was mechanically very strong before the accident. I am not interested in dealing with parting it out!!

Have brand new rear pads in genuine Suzuki parts package, about 3k on front, 5k on rear tire. Needs wiring fixed as someone cut the wires and pushed it a few blocks before they discoverd the battery was in the shed :D. Needs new front tire, brakes, and tune-up and will be ready for the season.

I have an 85 GV1200 for sale. I have all the original documentation and bills of sale. I am third owner and this bike is extremely well taken care of. I have had new throttle, choke, and speedometer cables installed. As well as new side cover gaskets and valve cover gaskets. I also have had a new seat cover installed in April 2006 and new mirrors installed in September 2006. I rode the bike as sole source of transportation for the summer and fall months and it is still just as strong as a new one I am sure. The tank was repainted just before I bought the bike and is still in very good condition. No dents at all. Though it could use a little touch up on a few scratches incurred from the tank sliding off a five gallon bucket recently when I had the carbs off the bike. I am asking $2800.00 for the bike and have been told the bike is worth $3500.00 as is. A local cycle shop has a very knowledgeable owner the name of the shop is Metro Cycle. He is located on Mansfield highway in Kennedale TX. Title is clear and state inspection is valid until November 2007.
